My scary experience

Like most of people, I have had several scary experiences. One of them, probably the most scary, was when I was sinking in a river. First of all, I am a great lover of water since my early childhood. When our family were going for a swim I always was in euphoria, so my parents were even concerned about my passion for water. Therefore, I had been sinking twice, once at age of 5 and once at 10, but the second one was much more dangerous. In addition, I have learned to swim well when I was at age 11, so at this situation I was not a good swimmer. It happened in a very famous swimming area in the river of my born town. Until now a lot of children use to come there and enjoy swimming. It was a very hot day in summer, and me and my mother decided to go for a swimming. There were a lot of children, and a lot of my friends, too. My mother was enjoying the sun on the grass while I was playing with my friends in the water. There was a stone in the river from which many children were jumping to the water, and around this stone it was quite deep, so when you are jumping from it you should jump as far as possible from it to the bank. Nevertheless, there was no doubt that I will not do that, so I did it several times, but one time and the last one of that day it happened that one girl pushed me and I fell to the water where the bottom of the river was too deep that I could breath while standing. I was all in a panic, I tryed to jump for taking a breath but it was too deep. Therefore, I do not know how much time did it take while I was in a serious trouble, but quite soon one boy, who was a few years older than me, came to me and took me out from that place. A few seconds later I was fine. Everybody was looking at me, but I only remeber my mom's face. She was very scared, but since she new that finaly I am fine, she was very angry on me. Thus, this is one of my scary experiences. To conclude, I would like to say that it is very important to be always cautious during the swimming, because water can be no joke.

  3. Oh, your story remind me of this situation. I also once was sinked in a lake in front of my house in my hometown. I just could memorize that without remembering whether I felt scared or not. I was too young to feel scary. When I was totally under water, my parents suddently thought of my absence. They went into the river and take me out of it. Fortunately, as we can see, I am still alive. :-).
